Wolmyeongdong Winter Kingdom

Wolmyeongdong Winter Kingdom

Hello everyone!

I had an opportunity to stay in Wolmyeongdong from January 18th to the 20th with some of my friends, and I had such a great time! So I wanted to write a review of the place to give my testimony.

I didn’t have much time to go around and visit the various locations because I was pretty busy with all the activities going on for the first two days, but one place I did get to see was Wolmyeong Lake. It was frozen at that time.

You won’t believe your eyes!

On my last day, I was even more happier because of the snow storm. Now, I know some of you might be thinking, “Snow storm? Isn’t that a bad thing? Who wants their day to end on a snowstorm?”

Well, lucky for me, the snowstorm only lasted through the night. By the time morning came, it was only mildly snowing. Perfect for picture taking!

I was so happy that I took a lot of pictures (which I’m now sharing with you haha).

The Holy Son’s House of Love viewed from Observation Point Me taking a picture of the falling snow Wolmyeong Lake when the water wasn’t yet frozen A picture of a tree that accumulated snow leaves and a weird looking bench lol This is the middle section of the Ambition Masterpiece where you can walk through I also had the chance to climb up Faith Mountain and was greeted by the statue of Jesus (not really a statue but a rock in an ambiguous form of Jesus) Some trees I took a picture of while I was hiking up towards Faith Mountain Another picture of the hiking trail I was on. Even in the winter, it’s beautiful!

By the way, if you didn’t know already, you can actually sled down the lawn sanctuary in Wolmyeongdong! From the top of the lawn, you can almost reach the lake. It’s pretty fun!

I would have shown you some pictures, but I only go to go once, and during that one time, no one took pictures of me…
