Each tree was painstakingly brought into Wolmyeongdong, meticulously pruned and shaped by Pastor Jung to reveal their natural forms and images. Just as God shapes the trees through the touch of wind, rain, and sun, so too does He shape us, pruning away unneeded thoughts and guiding our hearts toward His image.

His actions reflect a deeper truth: the deliberate act of shaping, of removing excess, is essential for the pines to achieve their clean, luminous, and exquisite beauty. This deliberate cultivation serves as a potent reminder that refining ourselves too, is a meticulous act we must continuously undertake to reveal our inherent radiance.

With stoic elegance and resilient spirit, these pines stand as living monuments to God’s divine working. They offer a vivid, natural testament to the steadfastness of faith and the boundless beauty of creation. 

God’s Quiet Continued Protection:

THE PINE TREE THAT MARKED TO LIVE

Standing tall by the sports field in Wolmyeongdong, this pine tree’s perfect symmetry belies its dramatic rescue. Once rooted near a grave and destined to be cut down, it was saved when Pastor Jung, moved by an inspiration from God, sent a disciple to mark it as “Protected.” This swift act delayed its removal and allowed for a careful two-year relocation. Now thriving in its new home, the tree testifies to God’s precise timing and the life-giving results of immediate obedience when Heaven speaks.
