Overview
Wolmyeongdong Recreation Center offers a volunteer program for students in high school and college. As a church that manages the world's finest natural temple, Wolmyeongdong Recreation Center endeavors to offer chances for volunteers to not only gain volunteer hours but also experience living within God's creation so that everyone can learn the value of nature.
Temple Management
Wolmyeongdong Recreation Center fosters volunteers by teaching them about the value of life as an integral part of its education program. The content and schedule of activities vary from day to day, but volunteers are free to participate in the work they are interested in doing. By participating in our volunteer program, volunteers gain opportunities to deepen their own enjoyment of nature while providing valuable assistance in the management of God's natural temple.
Pruning Trees
Besides general temple management, Wolmyeongdong Recreation Center also offers a wide-range of volunteer programs that center on managing trees and constructing landscapes.
Rock Landscaping
A variety of rock landscaping projects have been completed by the Wolmyeongdong Recreation Center. They include the Ambition Masterpiece, the Eastern Mural along Chestnut Mountain, the Northern Mural and Prayer Mountain, the waterfall near Wolmyeong Lake, and more recently, the Banquet Courtyard next to the Holy Son's House of Love. Through these projects, the Wolmyeongdong Recreation Center transcends its role as a place for simply experiencing God's creation and becomes a place where people can freely participate in reshaping the environment that God has blessed us with.
