Since I believed that God had already determined every human being’s fate, I thought that humans had no other choice but to live as predestined. No one taught me about this, but as I observed how things were, this was the conclusion that I reached through my own realizations.
Really, it was my own realization.
Thousands of students gathered for the summer youth retreat in Wolmyeongdong. The message was delivered by Pastor Jeong Myeong Seok.
There was a beautiful rainbow that arched over the Wolmyeongdong lake pavilion! A rainbow is a sign of God’s promise. Let’s remember the things that God has promised us and keep the determinations that we have promised God to do!
God’s Word is a revelation. During the Sunday, Wednesday, and morning services, revelations from God and the Holy Son are proclaimed in abundance. So you should listen well, realize that they are revelations from the Trinity, and then put them into practice. If you do, then you will gain tremendous things.
When working here in Wolmyeongdong, a person who works marvelously as if they were creating a masterpiece will do in one day work that is worth more than 50 days of work. This is the difference when it comes to work that is finished as a masterpiece before God.
Isn’t it unsatisfying when the truth is not thoroughly embedded into you?
When a tree is planted, it is unsatisfying if the roots are weak. Even if you replant the tree, new leaves will only grow if the roots are anchored into the ground. However, if the roots are weak, then leaves will never grow.
Just as a tree can die from being squeezed by a python, this big tree died because it was squeezed by arrowroot. You see it, right? All of you too will die if you are squeezed by satans and weeds, so I can’t help but be anxious. While taking time to reflect on this, let’s cut down all of the arrowroot in the area.
If the owner doesn’t put his hands on it, the mountain he owns will become full of weeds. In the same way, if the Lord doesn’t put his hands on you, you will also become a part of the wilderness.
When God works on something, He works in a very different way than humans. When He orders a task to be done, He actually already has a design in mind and has already made plans to finish the task well in advance.
